Steve is a marketing and communications professional with over 25 years’ experience in all phases of c-suite strategic management.

In his professional career, he has held positions of increasing responsibility for the Coca-Cola Company, IMG and both the Texas A&M and University of Texas systems. While in Atlanta, he advanced through the brand management team to run the world’s largest brand, Coca-Cola, led all bottler and marketing programs for Coca-Cola in the UK and Ireland and ran Worldwide Sports during the Salt Lake City Olympics and Japan/Korea World Cup.

At IMG, as the SVP and Managing Director of the Stadium & Arena Group, he led the largest stadium redevelopment project in the world, Wembley National Stadium. It should be noted that he led the initial research into the potential for PSLs in the UK and then, launched a sales and CRM team that generated over $600mm in initial upfront revenues for the project.

Finally, as the first CMO in higher education at Texas A&M, he developed brand standards, a professional licensing program, core values and centralized the communications structure. He was promoted to Vice Chancellor of marketing for the TAMU system in 2012 and led the strategic decision process for the Board of Regents leading to the move from the Big 12 to the SEC. It has been called the “Hundred Year” decision.
